Before the next round of snow gets here a bit O fun!

We are expecting more snow and maybe some ice this time but before it gets here the grandkids have some fun with Grandpa in the mound at the top of the driveway!

So glad that the camera was readily available to capture this little moment!

This is too funny not to share!

George Phillips, an elderly man from Meridian, Mississippi, was going up to bed, when his wife told him that he'd left the light on in the garden shed, which she could see from the bedroom window. George opened the back door to go turn off the light but saw that there were people in the shed stealing things.

He phoned the police, who asked, "Is someone in your house?"

He said, "No," but some people are breaking into my garden shed and stealing from me.

Then the police dispatcher said, "All patrols are busy. You should lock your doors and an officer will be along when one is available."

George said, "Okay."

He hung up the phone and counted to 30. Then he phoned the police again.

"Hello, I just called you a few seconds ago because there were people stealing things from my shed. Well, you don't hav e to worry about them because I just shot and killed them both, and the dogs are eating them right now," and he hung up.

Within five minutes, six Police Cars, a SWAT Team, a Helicopter, two Fire Trucks, a Paramedic, and an Ambulance showed up at the Phillips' residence, and caught the burglars red-handed.

One of the Policemen said to George, "I thought you said that you'd shot them!"

George said, "I thought you said there was nobody available!"

(True Story) I LOVE IT! Don't mess with old people!!

Here are some pictures from the blizzard on Wednesday. We did not get hit as bad as they had thought but it was enough to keep everyone busy for a little while! This is a photo from my back door
This is tiny little footprints in the snow!

So we are getting ready for a baby shower on the 23rd in honor of our newest grandchild, number 4 a girl whose name is to be Abigail. She will be the second grandaughter for us and we also have two grandsons. Grandchildren are the best! ♥ In honor of this new little baby girl I have made a treasury announcement which can be seen here!

Check it out there are some georgeous items in this sweet treasury!

Carnelian what a wonderful stone!

Protects against envy, rage and resentment. Calms anger, banishes emotional negativity and replaces it with a love of life. Carnelian boosts fertility and stimulates sexuality.

Carnelian treats lower back problems, rheumatism, arthritis, neuralgia and depression. It regulates the kidneys, and accelerates healing in bones and ligaments. Improves vitamin and mineral absorption and ensures good blood supply to organs and tissues.

This is some of the most beautiful Carnelian I have seen. This georgeous statement piece is created using the large Carnelian beads and copper seed beads with faceted 6mm carnelian rounds and 6mm golden shadow swarovski crystals. The necklace is strung on tiger tail and finished with a gold plated toggle clasp which is easy to fasten and very secure. The length of this necklace is 18 inches
